MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 160

Today marks the 160th installment of Phish.net's Mystery Jam Monday. On the heels of a rare victory by the Blog, this week's winner will receive TWO MP3 downloads courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, you'll need to be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery jam clip. Each person gets one guess per day, with the second “day” starting after I post the hint. A hint will be posted on Tuesday if necessary, with the answer to follow on Wednesday. Good luck!

definitely sounds like a Melt. If I was a little more familiar with the catalogue, this would be easy. I agree about the '95 quality there.

Was certain it was fall '95...combed Tweezers and Diseases given the A key, but agreed with the Melt-y feel, especially considering the fleeting C# at the very end of the MMJ clip.

@bl002e: nice pick; way to show how the the '97 sound didn't come together until later that tour.

That jam segment is what I'd expect "Twenty Years Later" to sound like if it ever really gets "out there".

I listened to this jam a few weeks ago and didn't think much of it the first time around. I read a couple of reviews of it, thought I might have missed something, listened again and still thought the same. Pretty aimless jam and the show could be considered the blobfish of the tour, which I listened to in its entirety a few weeks ago.
